lehigh Gorge

Last weekend we traveled to Jim Thorpe and took the Lehigh Valley train from Jim Thorpe into the state park. The train ride is just over an hour and there is a guide pointing out highlights and discussing the history of the area. The train has a dedicated car for bikes and dropped us near the trailhead, where we took the trail a leisurely 26 miles back to Jim Thorpe.
